diesel bronco help
hi i am thinking about doing a ford bronco engine sawp. i want to put a 6bt cummins motor in in and need info and help on the conversion. first off would the engine even fit and if so how hard or what type of modification am i looking at? also if the engine was in would the stock suspension and axles be able to handle the weight and power of the diesel? if i did need an axle swap what axles wood i go for i was thinking dana 60s. what other mods would i hav to do to make a durable diesel bronco, drive shafts, suspension, gearing ect. thanks for your help oh and the bronco year would probly be between 92 and 98

i dont know about the bronco. but i have seen it done with the ramchargers

I'd go for dana 60's at least. those year bronco's had weak axles. Are you looking to wheel it? If so the gearing would be mostley based on tire size. The good thing is that with the torque the cummins has you may be able to go higher of gears and still "crawl" unlike the gasers.:tu:
