4bt into... help me decide
well I'm about to get my hands on a 4bt not sure if it's gonna be turbo but it should.I was wanting to put it into one of my junkers or hold off till I get something better help me decide.
My junkers are a 94 Jeep Grand cherokee with a 318 87 toyota 4x4 all the rest are full sizes I can get other cool cars usually pretty easy what would be best to stick it in and easiest and cheapest. I love diesels would like to keep it mid size ish I'd rather do a 6bt into a fullsize but I'm getting a 4bt so that's it. thanks |
id say go with the grand cherokee. good luck with the swap no matter which way you go. :U:

The Jeep, definately the Jeep. My wife wanted me to drop a 4BT into her '04 Grand Cherokee Limited, but I had to explain that she needed the PCM kept in her's and it wouldn't swap.:booo: If it wasn't for not liking the newer body styles, I'd have her a Jeep with the 3.0L TD. Don't be affraid to put that 4BT into a larger truck. Some guy on the internet has an F-250 4BT turbo / intercooled and he's getting right at 30 MPG with it. And look at the current Diesel Power magazine and see that 4BT Mud Bogger!
Come to think of it, putting a 4BT into one of your vehicles is just plain silly! Sell that 4BT to ME!!!:rocking: |
