Hi
I am somewhat new to the diesel world. I have a 1967 M715 Truck that I want to convert to a diesel. I joined this forum to hopefully learn which Brand, (Chevy/Ford).. (Dodge wont fit without moving the firewall), would be the best for a daily driver/tow vehicle for this project.

Any help would be appreciated... see you in the forums

the duramax would probably be easiest with a PPE standalone wiring harness...

oh and welcome to the site:howdy:

As I'm reading the forums it looks like it might be worth modifying the firewall to fit the cummins. is it really that much better of an engine?

there alot more durable once you get into the high horsepower applications...all 3 have there quirks but the Cummins is like the small block 350 of the diesel world it seems now a days
