2001 Jeep Cherokee want a 4bt in it
i have a 2001 cherokee with a 4.0l blew a coolant line and fried the engine. i want to drop a cummins 4bt in it but dont know where to start to get all the right wiring. does anyone know where i should start?
is it possible for me to put a 4bt in a modern truck like that. |
You might want to go look around over on Jeepin.com - The Jeep Enthusiasts' Website There are a few over there who have done swaps. There's a guy over there with a 4bt in a Durango. He would probably be able to get you pointed in the right direction.
Forgot to add yesterday, you might also want to look around over at www.pirate4x4.com You're more likely to find the info you want there. |

Wouldn't it be easier to do something where parts are available, no custom work is needed?

I think it would be better if you're going to replace the auto parts because doing swap is really troublesome. I've tried something like that before and I messed up.
