Kubota 3 cylinder industrial engine conversion
I have a Kubota 3 cylinder 762 cc industrial diesel engine that i want to put into a suzuki super carry cargo. I read somewhere here that an industrial engine is different to the road engine. That the industrial engine is load dependent and the road engine is accelerator dependent. My question is, can I make an industrial engine into a road engine? Can I make the industrial engine behave like a road engine? Thankful for anybody who can help me with my problem.:argh:

If you have read my previous posts on the Kubota Ranger swap you know pretty much everything I do. About the only thing I can add is that governors built for a generator application do not work very well. Not personal experience but I have heard that many times. The industrial governor works great. Just takes a little getting used to. Good luck with your project.:c:

On a genst motor the cam is set to run @ a given RPM , will have to be changed and the lifters may be different as well.
The injectors will need swaped piston bowls will most likely be different The exhaust manifold is prolly different good possibility the fuel injection pump and the governor are different too research this very well b4 ya commit :humm: |
I wish I was smart enough to take on a conversion project like this...
