94 gas to diesel swap?
ive got a cherry 94 single cab 2500 with a new automatic(16miles)the computer was rebuilt and still dont run ,another bad computer ?,i also have a 92 dodge 2wd 5spd cummins and want to put it in the 94 ,besides the converter ,valve body up grade ,clutchpaks ,what do i need to get the gauges to work ,need a 94 diesel harness? etc .:argh:

If my memory serves me correctly, the 47RE transmission doesn't have electronics...which would make it a good candidate for an auto in a swap. One less thing to have to worry about compatibility, and it can be built to the same specs as a 48.

47RE is electronic.....E is for electronic, 47RH is Hydraulic.....H for hydraulic, they switched around the 96 model year......early models had H's, late models had E's.......[/QUOTE]
