Bradley GT Diesel
now for all those people who dont know what a bradley GT is here is a picture
http://www.priceofhistoys.com/wp-con...-gt-kitcar.jpg http://www.kitcars.com/Classifieds/Pictures/6830-1.jpg http://www.bradleygt.com/images/ed5.jpg my grandpa has this kit in the barn with the chassis the fiberglass body and the engine just waiting to be put together its a kit car based off a 1960's VW bug Chassis. what about putting a 1999.5-2003 Jetta TDI engine in the there. it is a rear engine rear wheel drive car so it already takes a transaxle from a 1960's VW Bug air cooled engine. hook up one of those TDI engines to it and put a Audi Six Speed transmission too it. this is already a common swap by the way. after that give the chassis some 21st century suspension parts to make it handle better. chip the engine and give it a turbo and injector upgrade and by then it should be a fun little car to zip around in. by the way a stock jetta can hit 125 MPH so with a six speed tranny and lower body weight of the bradley it easily should hit 150 MPH. while doing this it will easily get 45 MPG |
