1990 International dt466
I would like to know if anyone has done a serpentine upgrade on this engine 1990 DT466. I would very much like to do it myself as Im adding several alternators to the setup.
V-Belts do not work as good with high output alternators. Im on a 12v system and the alternators Im adding will be 18v on their own batteries/electrical. Any help is much appreciated. Truck is a 1990 International Armored Bank Truck. Its from the set of the 2011 movie Transformers Dark of the Moon. Impressive project! Upgrading to a serpentine system for your 1990 DT466 sounds like a smart move, especially with multiple high-output alternators.
