Who's fair game??

So in my town all these daddy's boys have their brand new trucks and think they are hot s***. They throw a tune and an exhaust and black smoke the whole town. Well I work 3 jobs in top of school and I'm proud of my little 2002 5.9. It is a VP truck that I have built up. It has a 62/65/14 , head studs , 150's and an edge juice. And I am amazed on what it does truly. I know it's not the fastest around but I want to be up there. My point in all this is to kinda get a read on who I can take and who I can't. I already taken two EFI live tuned LMM duramaxes. There is a cummins 6.7 with EFI. Some 6.4 power strokes with plug and plays. And a couple more EFI duramaxes. Nobody in town knows what I have done to my truck I don't kiss and tell. So not trying to start manufacture wars I wanna know about all 3 diesels and what you guys think. Plus I'm bored at work and wanted to start discussion. Thanks guys.

Personally, every vehicle out there is "fair game" depending on the loose nut behind the wheel. The trucks in my signature certainly aren't fast, but back when I did have a highly built '63 C10, I could depend on it to take most of the kids my age who were driving vehicles and didn't know how to really handle them.
Now, that said, at my tender age, and with two teenage drivers in the house, I have to say that we all know that stoplight drag racing is frowned upon.
Truth of the matter is that most folks don't know what they've got and if they do, they aren't going to tell. Does the guy at the light have posi or an open rear diff? What gears is he running? Too much tire? His toolbox full of tools or empty? How much fuel is onboard? All that adds up to weight and weight slows you down. The numbers from the drag strip I used to run at don't lie - 100 pounds equals 1/10 second in the quarter. Add in big tires, brushguard, toolboxes, and misc. crap and the guy you're running against might have an extra 1000 pounds ... On top of the fact that these trucks today are big, heavy vehicles. I'd say control what you can and run whomever you want. You may lose, you may win.
But be safe...

Thanks for pointing that out. I wasn't clear about the "racing" part per say. I don't run my vehicle against people on the street. If I go fast it's by myself late at night where nobody is. We have an 1/8 mile here where we are and people like to go there. But the tire and the hearing, lift, etc makes sense and all. Most the boys have lifted truck except the 6.4's they are all leveled with 35's. And I really mean all. And I'm not the kinda guy that likes losing so I'd rather not run at all if I don't know I'll win. Which is why I started this. Curiosity.

I say their girlfriends are fair game, play the mysterious card, they don't need to know what that truck can do, just that it looks good doing it fold Your tow mirrors in and take all the cummins stickers off, run a normal size exhaust you will be the talk of the town.

Everyone talks about their interests and hobbies, and I won’t be far behind and say that my main hobby is online casinos. Most of the time I play at night because it is my favorite time of the day. You can spend a lot of time doing what you love, and I am no exception. The most popular place for me is online casinos, more information by clicking, because there is real money there. It seems to me that everyone should decide to take this step.
