24v cummins swap to 2001 superduty
hi im in the process of converting my 2001 f250 superduty to a 24v cummins common rail 5.9 and g56 box. the dilemma I have at the moment is that im wanting to purchase a southbend or valair clutch. something that will handle 450hp. how do I go about the hydraulic side of things. ie clutch master in firewall.. will the dodge master fit the ford firewall? that way I can buy an entire kit..
Im from Australia so ill be purchasing from the USA any help would be greatly appreciated. Billy |
I am not sure on the size of the ford hydraulic line that goes to the slave. I think it is the same size as the earlier ford trucks and those are the same as the dodge. I bought a dodge slave cylinder and used my ford master and line. As for the clutch you wont go wrong with either one I would call up valair or southbend and they will tell you what to use always go with a little more clutch then needed!
