Swap 94 5.9 into 76 One Ton Van Frame for COE Project Looking for help

Hi guys here is the deal. I have a 52 GMC COE 2 ton truck. I am wanting a COE car hauler. I have a running but rusty 94 Dodge 1 ton service pickup dual wheels with the Cummins and an automatic. I bought a clean 76 Minnie Winnie 10500 GVW with a 360 gas for the base of my project.
I plan on putting the cummins in the van frame, then placing the 52 COE cab on top. I know I will be cutting and working around the floor and inner fenders for fitment. I am looking for idea's Haven't found someone that has done this that I can use as a guide. Motor mounts? Wiring to make it run? I will likely be using the 94 column, to have cruise and tilt, otherwise I would like to use the stock gauges. Plan on staying with the automatic trans that is in the 94 as well. Will post some pictures as I progress of course. Would like to get it running this summer on the van frame...... thanks Chris

If it was mine, I would just use the 94 dodge chassis and fit the COE to that frame and just stretch the frame to suit. Or graft the back half of the motorhome frame to the 94 front half. Should be a cool rig when done!

I had originally though about just making the COE fit on the truck. But steering issues and heavy frame rust was an issue. The motorhome frame is very clean and the COE cab would sit similar to the van on the chassis. This is why I am here looking for input. thanks!

Ok, didn't realize you lived in the rust belt. We don't see much of that here. I would try to transfer as much of the Dodge/Cummins stuff to the motorhome frame as possible. At least you have the whole truck, so you have everything you need.
