Swapping a 361 with a T6.354.4 in a Dodge Bus

Hi,

My friend and I have an old Dodge bus (1968) with a 361cid mated to a 5 speed transmission.

I have access to a free T6.354.4 Perkins engine out of a Massey Ferguson 860 combine (83-85).

I know Dodge used to use the 354 in some of their medium duty trucks in the mid 60's so it peaked my interest as to what would be required for the conversion.

I know we would have to change the gearing in the differential to adjust for the diesels lower RPM's.

I also know we would need to change the governor on the injection pump to work properly in the new application.

What else would I need? Would I need a conversion plate between engine and transmission or what kind of bell housing would I need?

Would I need to install a vacuum pump to operate the brakes?

I'm not committed to this conversion by any means, in all likely hood there is a 99% chance it never happens, but I'm still curious as to what it would take. Plus I think it would be a really cool rig, and hopefully the mileage would be a lot better. (Bus currently get's about 5 mpg lol)

Anyways if anyone has any info to share I would love to hear it.

Thanks.
