97 ford f350 crank but no start.
I am working on a buddies truck it's a 97 350 drw auto. Checked the hpop desk our and it was empty, filled it up and still wouldn't start, hooked up his programmer to see what codes where present and it showed cam sensor, and injector voltage to high/low. Pulled the valve covers all the wires look good, but their is no oil dumping from the injectors while cranking. Cracked the high pressure oil line and not much oil came out. The resivor was still full of oil, has fuel coming out of the shredder valve. I checked the oil in the crank case and found big metal shavings on the dip stick every time I checked the oil, any one ever come across this issue? Truck also has 285xxx miles.
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Also changed the cam sensor |
well first, big metal shavings in the pan is not a good thing.....
secondly, where did you get the cam sensor? |
Cam sensor came from autozone, the tack works now though.
