Whining noise coming from rear when coasting
Just recently when I would let off and coast with out any throttle you could hear this whining noise coming from the rear. And when you push the brakes it sometimes will almost double in sound but it doesn't sound like it would be the brakes.
Now the sound doesn't always happen. Some people have told me it could be the rear diff but I don't think it could be as the fluid was changed less than 2k miles ago. Hoping someone knows what this is, as i'm afraid to drive it. Thanks |

Bump
Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- well as of today the brakes have failed 100%. After a short drive of having 10% braking i stopped and got underneath the truck and the REAR PASSANGER SIDE brake caliper was leaking fluid and the wheel well was completely covered in brake fluid. Could this be what the sound was coming from? |
Broken brake in rubbing, grinding, maybe.
