powerstroke 7.3 question/problem

I have a 95 F-250 powerstroke and its got a skip at idle and its been going on for about 3 years now. it never burned crazy amounts of oil and it always got decent fuel millage so i have just lived with it. well now i feel like figuring out what the hell is going on with the idle skip. i did a compression test. cylinder pressure's were as follows (#1) 375psi, (#2) 340psi, (#3) 300psi, (#4) 350psi, (#5) 360psi, (#6) 340psi, (#7) 340psi, (#8) 340psi. im 100% sure of the cylinder numbering. Now the book says 260-450 psi is the range you ned to be with in. so the lowest was the #3 at 300 psi. would that cause the skip at idle? thanks in advance!
