2002 Duramax in trouble!
 

Hello, My previous posts were for my 6.5 turbo diesel which i sold to buy a duramax. I bought a 2002 3500 dually on march 25 2010 with 83000 miles and have put 30000 miles since then. I am looking for a 6.6 duramax engine. I have a 2002 chevy 3500 with 113000 miles and recently found out my engine is bad because of a GM issue (fuel injector). I am 1 year out of the warranty date but 85000 miles under the mileage warranty but GM says they can do nothing. So i paid to have the fuel injectors replaced but now they say because the injectors were leaking fuel in my oil now i may have to replace the whole engine which of course has no warranty. So far i have paid $500 in towing fees (200 mile tow back home to SC from NC) $125 dealer diagnostic fee, $5600 to replace all 8 fuel injectors....at $350 per injector they really get you.....:dang: for a grand total of $6100 and still the truck can't drive.
If anybody knows where i can get a decent engine or even just a long block at a decent price please let me know. I own a small transport company which i use the truck for. This truck right now is my family's main source of income so i can't afford to have it down very long or cost me a lot to fix. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
