02 dodge 1500.

so driving home about 10 minutes ago, i heard a loud squeeling coming from what sounded like my driverside wheel bearing. it would only make the noise when i accelerated. then my check gauges light came on. tranny was at 210* battery was dead, and felt like power steering was out. barely drove it back into my driveway. tranny was full. oil was full. looked like engine is leaking behind the harmonic balancer. also looked like powersteering fluid. im thinking my powersteering resivour was overfull and popped from the pressure when the fluid was hot. any other idea's yall have would be great. towing it to the shop in about 15 mins.

water pump siezed up causing coolant to leak onto the serpintine belt, causing power steering to slip, battery gauge to read dead, alternator not turning, and coolant temp to peg out. lets hope thats the only thing that broke.

So I'm assuming the serpentine is still intact ?:humm:

serpentine still in tact. not torn. just slipped from all 3 points listed above. called the shop, $300 for parts and labor. not too bad. better than me doing it, and doing it wrong. id rather pay for a shop to do it, and have a warranty, then spending twice what it would of cost me in the first place.

Yea usually when you lose, power steering, and volts at the same time it's gonna be somthing with the belt. Why don't you fix it yourself and save a little jingle:humm:
