advice wanted need to narrow this down before upgrades are attempted
 

hello all, scrolled through threads couldn't find my exact situation. so here it is 01 dodge 2500 4x4 auto trans. codes are 1757,1762,1693,this is doing the key cycling trick 3 times. those are the P PCU codes, then the P ECU codes are 0234,1693 i know what they mean. no loss of power,no dead pedal,no more smoke than normal,trans seems to have locckup issues at certain speeds nothing real bad though, stock setup except KN filter in stock housing, 4" exhaust straight back, then dumped.codes present before exhaust mod. did put 33x12.50 17 tires and wheels on it long ago,fuel filter is new, dont change anything fpr the better or worse. IAT sensor new looking in appearance no soot. will be checking this thread periodically today let me know questions if any thanks to all. new Factory LP 60,000 miles ago which was when i purchased truck with 60,000 miles on it. cracked lines open got great visual fuel pressure doesn't seem to starve for fuel but i think th CPU is trying to de-fuel it cause the code. only code shown when on a scanner is the 0234 always comes back sorry punctuation so terrible in a hurry thanks again "NEWBIE"

the map sensor might be the problem. if its reading wrong pressure, saying its to high, would cause it to throw the over boost code and defuel good luck with it. idk if ya can the map, but may be able to clean the map sensor. i know ya can the IAT sensor, so might try pulling it, and cleaning it up some. :tu:

well was ponderin that 160.00 aftermarket plug to see if it changed anything the one that goes on bottom of apps as opposed to the 500.00 factory replacement i steer clear of factory stuff they couldnt get a plastic mold figured out when they made this body style much less fuel air etc:argh::bat:

wow, finally got a free 15 minutes, before i get to go finish a deck for a friend, and piece of mind from girlfriend saying you and that @#$%ing truck should get a real reason to be connected all the time. what was the $ in wiper blade for she said, for you and to keep you from getting the bigger stack for a part {MAP sensor} under the hood so i can at least update or reply to all the people that i pissed off on my favorite site going for a much needed drive ill let you all know later ALSO I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE ALL THIS SITES FEATURES YET ID LOVE TO GET TO TAKE A PICTURE OF MY TRUCK GOT A CAMARA AND FEEL FREE TO ADD ME TO WHATEVER CATAGORY YOU WANT OR MAKE A FRIEND WITH ME ITS COOL AND WOULD SHOW ME HOW.
