ya that got me thinkin. even with my air dog i plumbed around the fuel preheater and i just changed the air dog filters and the other filter. im gettin fuel to the pump cuz the overflow valve is whinin. Now what should i look for?

ArizonaRedneck 02-07-2010 09:41 PM

do you have a pressure gauge setup on airdog and how many miles are on your p-pump

Dr. Evil 02-07-2010 09:43 PM

How cold is it?

Have you tired plugging in the block heater?

AFX 02-07-2010 09:55 PM

um i got the unadjustable air dog and my injection pump was new May 09. Ya my truck starts fine when i plug it in but i took the cover off the intake and the heater is puttin out heat when it cycles.

NEW batteries; don't bother with OEM suggestions. Get 950 CCA's. Makes a hell of a difference.

new batteries doesnt cure a no starting problem 9 out of 10 times. dont waste your money on batteries if yours are good.

you say your truck starts when its plugged into the block heater right? but it doesnt when it doesnt get plugged in?

how cold is it where your at?

and if its really cold you might want to reconsider feeding your fuel line back through your fuel heater. the cold fuel might not be warm enough to ignite regardless of how warm the intake air is

AFX,

I'm in Wichita, so I've been dealing with the same weather, more or less. I ended up having to plug in a trickle charger AND a block heater. Finally just had to upgrade to industrial batteries.

Dr. Evil 02-14-2010 05:16 PM

So youve got it fixed now?

If so, what are the specs on the batteries you put in?
