Cummins. Dead pedal?

So my truck has done this 4 times now....

I will be driving along & I will have my foot on the pedal.

And The RPMs will drop to a idle

Here is some info on my truck..

I have a new vp44 with about 5,000 miles on it

I have FASS fuel

And for what its worth, I just put a new nv4500 5 speed tranny in prob 400 miles ago..

It started right after I put the tranny in, but I doubt it has anything to do with it...

cycle the key three times, and see what codes your odometer is reading...

No - use a scanner.

They key on/off trick isnt even worth the effort.

It's worked for me every time I've used it, on my truck and others...if nothing else, it's worth a try.

I guess - it is free. But people just have to be aware that it will not show all the codes that you may have.

It was a manual before. Just the old one went out, so I put a new one in
