the return of the dreaded death wobble

Alright, for all of those that begged, and I do mean begged:tttt:for an update. Here it is.
The truck was supposed to have a steering stabilizer, google the TBN for 05-07 F250, installed on a stock suspension. So when the dealer did not put one on when they lifted the truck 6in, it magnified the stock issue 6x, just a guestimation there. So, since we had an extended warranty and the TBN backing us up, we got 1.5 steering stabilizers for the price of 0.5. Actually a compromise since the extended warranty did not cover the stabilizer, but the TBN should have been taken care of from the very beginning. So, now we have a dual stabilizer set up :yeah: for less than 90$. Once they were broken in it fixed the problem.

Theres ur flippen update:c:

The problem is still there........ just masked by the steering stabilizers. :(

If you read through this thread it kind of evolved into a how to and why's of the Dodge front end problems. https://www.dieselbombers.com/5-9l-2...d-rebuild.html

Yeah it solved the problem, but according to the TBN, if you read between the lines so to speak, the problem has been there from the get go. You can fine tune the suspension and completely eliminate it, but then the suspension will get knocked around and then you're back to square one, the dreaded death wobble :scare2:

Markers do wonders in that case. We put multiple color marks on our eccentric bolts in the miata's for "track" and "street" settings. Makes it easy to check and make sure nothings been bumped around.

Just food for thought if the issue ever crops back up :)
