exhaust system of 1999 Dodge Ram
 

Still driving the 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 cummins diesel.. Here is my new dilemma.
exhaust manifold is cracked, and has been for a while. Getting exhaust fumes into the cab of the truck, seems like it is getting worse. After driving it today, and feeling sick, I have now refused to drive it til it gets fixed.
He wants to put headers on it w/stainless steel exhaust. Says that it won't cost anymore then replacing manifold & new exhaust. I have been searching for prices on the internet and all the came up with is the manifold is going to be about $600.00.
Probably not looking in the right place. Any suggestions?

How cheap you wanna do it? Get a junkyard manifold and clamp in a straight pipe. Not gonna find a header for the cummins that will be cheap and they are only used for compition. Its not necessary to get one at all though.
