MBRP Exhaust 97' F350 Problem!

Whenever I start up the truck the new exhaust makes a sucking sound for about 45 sec then goes to normal... I have no idea what the cause of this is but I dont like the sound of it and is not normal, help me out please, text me if need be cause i would like to know ASAP (530)356-9004

it is most likely th exhaust back pressure valve closed. It is designed to create exhaust back pressure to warm the engine up faster. When the truck is cold it is normal.

Ya, this thread is Void now, I contacted MBRP and they said it is the vacuum from the turbo to warm up the engine faster... my next question is, Should I wait till this vacuum sound goes away to drive? dont want to hurt me engine =)

if its only for 45 seconds or so, then i would. its never good to just jump in a cold diesel and take off. glad ya got it figured out :U:
