93 F-350 still won't run
Haven't been on in a few days, but have not resolved the problem. I am waiting for a part (injector pump). I hope that will fix the problem. Can anyone give me any insight as to how difficult the IP is to install?

Not too difficult, just have to remove quite a few parts to get to it. I'd say around 3 hours to have it tripped out of the hole.

Looked it up on ALLDATA, decided I was going to have to get some reference since I didn't know too much about diesels. I just haven't seen anything on how to make sure #1 is at TDC, but I will figure it out. Still waiting on the pump though

The injector pump drive should have a pin that fits in the drive gear. Really no need to TDC #1 unless your rebuilding the engine. But if you need to, remove the injector or glow plug from #1 cylinder, and have somebody turn the engine over by hand. As soon as air quits blowing out, look at the marks on the harmonic balancer. Mark should be at 12 o'clock.
