Buddys truck problems

I replaced the IP and LP about 2 months ago. I was running it pretty hard!!! The truck started decreasing in speed check engine light came on and when I came to a stop sign it would not idle right kinda jump the rpm's up and down. This happened right as I got home and it was late, so i figuered I'd work on it the following day. It wont crank and smokes like hell while turning over. Its spits this sequnce out when I try for the codes: P ECU, P 1693, P Done, P Done, P ECU, P1690, P Done. Need some imput, Appreciate the help guys ....

"P ECU, P 1693, P Done, P Done, P ECU, P1690, P Done" well it looks self explanitory the truck is telling you whats wrong, your ECU is done just like it said. just kidding im sure someone can let you know whats going wrong this same thing happedend to my brothers truck 3 months ago i forgot what it was

all data says that the IP cam position sensor doesnt agree with the engine CKP sensor, most likely its the engine one thats bad if not the IP is bad i would change the engine crank position sensor its like $65 at autozone its behind the starter hopefully the oring on it isnt rusted or seized because mine was and it was a bonafide bitch to get out:argh:

not too bad to get out, just get a good ford tool! aka 4ft prybar!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

if its got 188000 and you have never changed the ckp, then that is the most likely culprit, known to go bad, replaced 6 in the year that i worked at a private shop!
