Windschied whippers will go up but not come back down

It started about a month ago abd when I cut on the whippers it goes up strong but gets stuck still I push them down. Motor should fine. Any help would be appreciated. Can’t handle driving in the rain with no whippers lol. Thank u. Urgent help needed
