96 International dt466m, Trans a bit funky.
 

I have a 96 International 4700 rollback With a Dt466m turbo diesel. It has a 6spd manual with a low gear. It has been sitting for a little while. I took it for a spin yesterday. It seems that when I down shift it grinds a little bit and doesn't go into the gear right away. I'm hoping it is not a clutch or a syncro. It doesn't seem to shift to badly while up shifting. I would like to try to do some adjustments first. If anyone has any ideas on what it could be and what I should do. That would be very helpful. Plus any kind of instruction to do a process on these medium duty internationals will also be helpful. Thanks
