Dead in the water cummins.

My 1990 Dodge Ram 5.9 cummins died on the road. It has been upgraded to IC a while back, this included a IP for IC, I managed to get it into the parking lot at the local co-op, I then could work on the truck, so I replaced the fuel filter thinking I picked up some grub on my last fill, primed it like usual, no go, okay then, it must be my lift pump, Lordco was close so in goes a new pump, prime system like usual, no go. Checked fuel solinoid, found the sealing head to be brittle and falling apart, pulled the pin out, can use manual shut down, still no go, by now it's late, get it trailered home by a buddy, okay, I think I am going to get a rebuilt IP, install it, prime it, no go. Getting frustrated now, okay it's possible junk went through the pump and plugged my injectors, last night I pulled the injectors and they are soaking in Coleman fuel in six separate containers. I did find the metering pins were stuck in five out of the six injectors. I am a simple hands on guy, so I do need help now and then, can someone tell me what I am missing? What else should I be looking at or replacing before I put her all back together. She is my baby and daily driver. I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Not sure if anybody responded to my request, it's running, but the injectors bleed back every time it is shut off, changed injectors this morning, first time it's ran in a week. Anybody have any ideas what might cause the injectors to bleed back?
