Truck won't start
 

My 1995 chevy 6.5 turbo diesel started acting like it had a bad PMD. If it idled for a while, it would just shut off like I had turned the key off. That happened about 3 times. It would start again after a wait, usually the next day. I replaced the PMD with a used one and it ran for a while. I drove to a friends house and turned the truck off. It has not started since (about 3 weeks). When I first tried to restart it at my friends house, I checked the PMD and even after sitting there for about 15 or 20 minutes, the PMD was so hot you couldn't hold it. I had it towed home. I bought a brand new PMD with a relocation cable and large heat sink. The truck still will not start. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be??

sorry Jim I am not very good on the Chevy stuff unless its a BBC. I don't want to stear you in the wrong direction. There are a few good chevy guys on here like Mayhem and Heavy chevy try PMing them.

I have found a better diesel forum as this one has proved to be useless to me. Hope other have better luck than I did in trying to find answers. I found my answers on a different and (to me) better forum. I won't be back, so you can remove me.
