1997 ford 7.3 running bad
 

i replaced my vacumn pump bout 2 months ago in the morning when i crank it up it turns over a good bit b4 it cranks and after it cranks i can here a suction coming from around the turbo area but it only does it for few seconds and if i dont plug my truck up at nite when i get in it the next morning to go to work my truck sounds like its starving for fuel and it looses power and il have to pull over and try and crank it again and when it cranks it puts out white smoke and it sounds like its got no power but my engine clatters like its running out of fuel and it has lost power to me will my map sensor be my problem please help this one has puzzled me thanks

dont know where u live..but sounds like winter fuel is ur problem..:pca1:

you think my diesel fuel heater is my problem i live in south Mississippi and i have to keep it plugged in at nite or it with run like crap its not that cold down here

do u have any codes...if u can i need those codes to help further...i beleve the whit smok u talked about could be from condensation in the exhaust...the suckin sound i would check ur charge hose boots for leaks or splits..mine r blue not sure what urs are..hope this helps...scott:humm:
