95 Chevy 6.5 Turbo Diesel

Ok all, I should have joined and asked a long time ago but didn't! I bought a 95 Chevy 3500 with the 6.5 Turbo Diesel last summer. The truck only has 120,000miles and the price was good. Truck ran great on 2 test drives so I bought it. Left the guy's house about 15 miles down the road I bought fuel (yes I'm sure it was diesel). I got about 100 yards from the station and it quit. Had a friend tow it to my house. from there I looked on this forum about my symptoms and everything pointed to the PCM. The truck would start and run for a few minutes then sound like it was starving for fuel and quit. I bought a new PCM and relocation kit. Still does the same thing. Then drained out all the fuel put in new fuel with an additive I got from a diesel mechanic up north. Changed the filter, changed the oil pressure sensor and fuel relay. This truck still won't stay running. I've had it for months and still can't drive it. With all that being said what I didn't do is change the lift pump or the sock filter. Also when I changed the filter I didn't bleed the system as I just saw that today. I will say that a couple times it did start and run for quite a while so I would think it got any air out of the system. This is my first diesel so I know nothing about them. Does any of what I have done or not done sound like the problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
