2003 6.0

Hi all, I'm new here. At work, we have a 2003 F360 with the 6.0. It started dying on the driver, but it would start back up, only to die after a few minutes. Back at the shop, I discovered code U0105 FICM not communicating. It would start occaisionally and run for about one minute before dying, then it had to sit a bit before it would start again.

The scan tool I had read 9.8 V on ficm vehicle power, 11.8 V logic power, and around 45 volts on FICM main power.

Today it read 7.8V on vehicle power, 8.8 V on logic, and 31.48 on FICM main power.

I tested the batteries, they tested good but I put a set in anyway, and it didn't help. Removed the connectors from the FICM, inspected terminals. All looked good and were secure. Wiggled the wiring harness and checked for chafes in all the usual spots, but it didn't help.

The power at the ECM was battery voltage, and I did voltage drop tests on all the cables, and the ground cable going to the engine block. They tested good.

So, do you think I have a bad FICM? I don't think the FICM would cause the low logic and vehicle power volts, but what do you think?
