ECM/PCM trouble Codes

Ok, new to DieselBombers, but a 9month reader since I bought a 2004.5 Dodge w/ a 5.9 325hp Cummings.

After spending 1/4 of what I paid for it in repairs, it is having trouble yet again...:argh:

Ok...when it's below 160' temp about a month ago it through a ECM/PCM code. I pulled on to highway and it began powering up and then suddenly fell on it's face. Recovered and went on it's way. But it through a check engine light.
Month later did the same thing, BUT...this time my Edge Attitude w/ Juice cycled 6xs and cleared the code. After one (1) week of doing ok, it did it again. As before under 160' temp.
Problem... I don't know if its the Attitude box or what...I need help. Plus when it's cold and under power there is a "popping noise". At first I thought the Hubs...but my mechanic said the hubs are fine. It sounds like metal heating up and expanding...????
I took it to a certified Cummings mechanic at a semi shop and he is perplexed. I'm at a loss and honestly I cannot trust this truck...yet I cannot give up on it either. There is no smoke be it black or white or blue. Again once over 160' it runs great. Like I said it started a month ago.

PLEASE HELP :argh:
