Glad you guys are here.

I have a 99 F250SD 7.3 powerstroke with 407,xxx miles. It has had a slight miss for several years and we have thrown lots of parts at it trying to fix it but have never found the actual problem. I own a rock shop and haul lots of rocks around so it does haul some weight.

Right now I am working out of state and don't have my local mechanics to fall back on, I did take this to a local mechanic here last week but he feels that due to the high mileage it is a lost cause and didn't want to work on it.

Last week we were working about 50 miles from where we are staying, we drove there and back it ran fine except for on the way home we lost power coming up a hill, it sputtered some then cleared up and we ran fine the rest of the way home (approx 25 miles).
The next day we were taking a load to the dump and it lost power pulling a hill and just died in the road, would not start again, we towed it to the mechanic who kept it for 3 days and suggested we replace about $4000 worth of parts or take it home, it did start up for him but it ran very rough.
I took it home and replaced the ICP and that cleared the problem up, we took it to work yesterday (75 miles round trip), it ran great there but on the way home (cruise control set at 65 mph) it started to stutter a little then about 7 or 8 miles from home it just lost power and died again. (acts like a low oil shutdown but the oil level is fine). Would not start back up, we got towed back.

Pulled the codes this morning with my superchip programmer (it is set to tow/perf mode) and got the following codes

P0340
P0471
P1212
P1316
P0603
P0232
P0733
P0237
P1280

I am thinking IDM, but want to see what suggestions I get here before I throw any more parts at it.

nevermind.

It was cps and fuel pump
