Slow Crank No Start

Hello, new to the forums here...but I have a 99 Dodge 2500 5.9L cummins and recently the other day I drove my truck to the store only to get back in it and have it not start. It would crank and crank but not start. I had it towed home and started cracking lines. I have fuel from the lift pump to the fuel filter, then from the filter to the IP, I cracked the outgoing line at the IP and fuel comes out but when I crack lines at the injectors I get very little fuel on some spots and none on others. The crank when it was starting was very sluggish almost like it was gonna die then it would start. I havent gotten it scanned due to the fact that it just happened. Ive read so many things from CPS to new Injector Pumps to just batteries. Any help would be much appreciated at this time.

I had a 99 Dodge gas truck that would not run properly unless it had a good charged battery. From what I've read you need to take care of that first.

See, everymorning before work the truck would start no problems. crank right over and run perfect. Its when I stop the truck to get diesel or something and I jump back in it to start and It will crank and crank and crank and then eventually fire up. Except this last time. It started up fine to get me where I needed to go and as soon as I got back in it to start It just cranked and cranked and cranked. Im thinking theres a bad sensor somewhere but Im not sure where. Thank you for your reply.
