Electrical troubleshooting
After seeing a number of computer controlled electrical issues posted here, I've decided to share a very valuable resource with you guys. I am in no way affiliated with the individual who provides these resources aside from being a customer. I can tell you the testing methods shown in this information are some of simplest and fastest methods used by professional techs. This will allow you with a wiring diagram to diagnose electrical issues without the use of complicated flow charts. A good portion of the information provided is for gasoline engines but the testing methods for the electronics is the exact same! If you intend to diagnose your own truck, or you are (or looking to become) a technician this will be some of the most valuable information you'll ever receive! Please note that basic knowledge of 12v circuits is a must and they are not covered in this information.
There are plenty of videos on youtube covering basic 12v automotive circuits. If i can help with wiring diagrams please contact me via pm.
