2000 F250 - Vacuum cleaner sound ?
Ok, stacks are on, 5" straight pipe aswell...
WTF could this be, here's a video.. It threw a code, something like ICS above expected... Truck has a Superchips FlashPaq on it in Performance mode... anyone got a explaination for that horrid sound.... ? F250 Superduty - Some !#%!"# bullshit - YouTube |

Its your exhaust back pressure valve closing. I am guessing your truck is cold, your exhaust back pressure sensor is plugged up.

Doesn't matter if it's cold or hot, it happens at slow speeds at constant throttle, sound clears up as soon as he moves the skinny pedal around... decelerates / accelerates...

Yup... Its the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve. You can try unpluging it, the plug is on the bottom front of the turbo pedistal.
Bet your issue goes away. You can leave it unplugged if you want, or you can fix the issue (plugged EBP sensor)... |
