electrical?

Alright guys I got in my truck and went to fire it and it didn't... it acted like it had a dead battery. I just tried jumping it and it didn't work... the voltage gauge shows plenty of juice but overtime I hit the key I. Lose all power and then something under the hood on the drivers side by the firewall sounds like it's running for a good minute after I shut the key off... I need help I'm supposed to sell this thing Friday morning

Still no solution...

Starter relay, starter solenoid, fuses, there are many things that could be the issue. When you turn the key, generally everything else shuts off to give the starter maximum power, instead of items in the cab robbing power. Can you hear a click or anything from under the hood when you turn the key?

Yes there's a click when a turn the key, it usually cranks once then clicks... is it possibly that the truck isn't getting enough juice when I jump it off of the Durango?

IT is possible for sure. Bad booster cables can cause that.

When it clicks, is it a rapid click?

Yes it is... it acts just like a dead battery so maybe I just need to find a battery charger

That, or a difference set of booster cables. You could also check the battery connections at the batteries, starter, and the ground to the block.

I put a good battery of my mom's truck in it and it kinda cranks over real slow... I assume I need 2 good batteries for this thing to fire...
