Advice
bought a 2002 chevrolet duramax about 3 months ago. I'm a diesel mechanic by trade, so i have been browsing the web looking for good web sites to give my truck what it needs and ran across diesel bombers and really liked it.. so now im just looking for advice on my truck.. i have a 4 inch exhaust from turbo back and a cold air intake on it. looking at programers? i have A 50 mile one way to work drive so i dont want to do anything too crazy to kill my fuel mileage? let me know thanks....

:hellox::hi: what do you plan to do with the truck and how much money are you thinking of spending? efi is great for the dmax but costly, ppe and quad would be my next choices. dmax does not seem to do well with the edge juice w/attitude so be mindfull of that tuner.

using oil ?
have you ever heard of a duramax using a little oil becasue of idiling too long? i have 3800 miles on my last oil change, and i pulled my dipstick on the truck and it was about a quarter up the operating range... i talked to a few guys at work and they said it was because i was letting it idle all the time?? i no darn well its not leaking anywhere, i park in a concrete barn everynight?????
