Hello all

Hello all, just thought I'd drop a message and introduce myself.

I'm Robert, live in Bryan/College Station TX and bought about three months ago a 2002 Dodge 2500 CTD, 5 speed, 2wd.

It has about 171k miles on it, runs perfectly (now), does all of the basic truck duties (and occasional heavier duties) that I need, and even returns decent mileage.

We bought the truck to help us move into the new house we just bought, and I had always kind of wanted a CTD manual.

When I bought it, whenever I would cold start it, it'd drive great for about a minute, and then go through between 1-5 minutes of incredibly reduced power and then clear up. I was suspicious of the problem, but decided to wait until after I had moved to fix it.

Didn't have that kind of luck.

So, one VP44 replacement and a new AirDog 100 system and I'm ready to move.

I'll eventually be looking to do mild upgrades, nothing too wild (same thing I said before I started modifying cars too) but for right now, I've got a great running truck that does everything I need it to and gets great mileage.

My other toys:

2003 Acura CL, the wife's car
1987 VW GTi, my little project. Currently has a little over 560k miles, 100% stock
