I NEED HELP!!
ok i have a 2003 dodge 3500 5.9 cummins. whenever i turn my programmer up over 100 hp i have a bad popping noise and sputtering at a high rpm under full throttle. i have already installed a bd diesel fuel pump that pushes 100 gph at 15 psi and that still didnt fix it. i have 196000 miles on it and it still has stock injectors in it. there is a faint ratteling noise that i dont hear in any other cummins. what should i try next?

Sounds like you popping noise is your because of the fuel rail draining. That pump should of fixed that. 196xxx is a lot of miles for them injectors from what I've heard and been around. I got a buddy who has the same truck with a ts mp-8 and smarty WITH an air dog and still drains the rail. I think he needs a modified cp3 or something. That's a lot fuel for him. His truck has a little injector rattle ( 177xxx) miles

Welcome to DieselBombers :c:
You may want to post here 5.9 Liter CR Dodge Cummins 03-07 - Diesel Bombers to get better response to your question:U: |
YOUR FRIEND WITH THE SMARTY AND AIR DOG MIGHT WANT TO TRY THE (BAG OF PARTS) OR DUAL CP3'S FROM INDUSTRIAL INJECTION. IVE SEEN THE DUAL CP3 PUSH OVER 1000 RWHP

He just recently put the bag o parts in the cp3 along with 90 horse nozzels. Still drains the rail like crazy :hmm:
