Where do you think Lance Armstrong rides? On pathways and sidewalks? How do you know the guy you're smoking out isn't representing your country or your state at major events?

It's illegal EVERYWHERE to ride on the sidewalks. If you don't like it, don't blame cyclists, do something intelligent and write to your member of congress or protest. Smoking people out only shows how much of an idiot you are.

Alot of the trucks on this site can make you completely lose your vision. Maybe your truck is just weak.

And I'm sure you did something to deserve being hit by that cloud.

Bicyclists need to remember they have to follow the same road rules drivers do. They endanger themselves and anyone around when they think they can just cruise thru lights, screwing around, etc. just cuz they're on a bike. But smoking them out isn't the answer. There is the respect issue to consider, and also Karma.

BBOCD was from another site that we used to be on. It was a story that one of the guys told about accidentally smoking out a cyclist (after he straightpiped his truck). Doesnt sound that funny, but it was all too funny when its told by a story teller like the infamous Von Trapp.

i try to keep the smoke to a minimum, except when somebody's tailgatin me, a nice big ole cloud usually gets my point across
