Do you have an '04 with the LB7 or an '04.5 with the LLY?

IT HAS THE LLY IN IT. AT THE MOMENT I HAVE THE BANKS 6 GUN IT WITH 4IN BANKS EXHAUST ON IT "WITH A MUFFLAR DELETE PIPE THAT I INSTALLED LAST NITE". ALONG WITH A COLD AIR INTAKE.

Hey there Craig. :howdy: Welcome to Diesel Bombers. We have alot of folks here that carry incredible knowledge on the Duramax. Your Truck could be either an LB7 Duramax or an LLY Duramax. They Changed the motor 2004.5 Most Likely yours is an LB7.

To Find out for sure, Check your vin number. If the 8th digit of your VIN number is a 1, then it is an LB7 Duramax. If the 8th digit is a 2, then it is an LLY. That is very important information when it comes to upgrading parts.
