My name is Waylon I just here about a month ago bout me my first diesel built a few 5.3 and 5.7 back in my earlier days any rate long story made short I have a 2005 dodge ram 2500 SLT quad cab 5.9l Cummins and the P.O.S 48RE trans I was pulling my camper from mobile to Talladega and I was about an hour away from my destination when all of a sudden my truck lost power down shifted to 3rd and before I forget it was too toe n over 200 up hills from time to time if I stood off in it so I did some researching and reading and so far I have change the following all 3 sensors inside the trans fluid pan also bought installed new T.T.V.A, along with temp sensor, and adjusted bands the one by the TTVA unit I tra. To 72 IN. ft. lbs and back ba k off it 1 and 3/4 turns and snitched lock nut back down and did the same for the one inide the tans fluid cover outside I backed off it 3 full rounds before tighteing down also replaced brake light switch now I have no mods outside a D.I.Y 4IN PIECE OF Pvc I put in where the restrictor blades were on intake and removed silencer ring and have 4in turbo back exhaust nothing else had been touched bow I am shifting good and running fine but have nearly ZERO bottom end power coming out of the whole I'm not building a race truck just simply want a daily reliable back and fourth to plant and camper and back to work truck that look rides and is nice the k you to whom ever assis with my problem
