Default DieselNewbie

I'm new to the diesel game and don't know a whole lot about them.
Honestly I don't own one but want one sooooo bad. My goal is to some day take my 99 Exploder and turn into a diesel like the Rangers on this page.
My dream vehicle is 5.9 24v Cummins NV4500 Dana60 front and rear with 4.10 or greater to haul horses and cattle.
My goal is to learn all I can about diesel.

Wow, I have learned so much since this post. I currently own a '02 Duramax with 3.73 gearing. The '99 Explorer is long gone.

Having said your dream truck is a 2nd gen cummins and you buying a LB7 looks like you went backwards on that one.. Joking aside glad you finally got a diesel. welcome to the sight.
