hi D on a wet day
hello all. :hellox:diesel lover from way back.. the sound, the smoke, the smell. Even the puddles from old Detroit's. the only quality V configured diesel made... my personal opinion inserted. ornery yes definitely, but tough. and loud. The air cooled Deutz to Wisconsin. The capable, trust worthy Kubota to John Deere. the Dura Max, Powerstroke, the Cummins in all their carnations. I have owned many autos. I prefer trucks over cars. I prefer 4x4 over 2x4. I prefer a Cummins. my current is a Frankenstein ish dodge truck. I'll add I pic sometime. body, bought it as a 96 4x4 2500 roll over. junk yard scavenged 94 1500 cab, 98 3500 hood, finders, bed is a 78 long bed step side. w/t 6" bull horns. drive line. 12v 91 block w/t 96 heads. trans is 96 47re. rebuilt 3 times :argh: gods I hate that transmission. since I rebuilt the truck I have added 200,000 miles body and front end is shot. it has the death wobble. so I'll be on the forums looking for advice, opinions https://www.dieselbombers.com/images/icons/icon3.pngand good natured hazing. look forward to conversing with everyone.
