1997 F350- New to the game

Hey all! My name is Ben and I have recently entered into the world of Diesels....as a personal thing. I had driven over the road for many years within the Motorsports area. I knew was hooked when I would wake up at 0030 at some Joe Schmuckatelli truck stop in BF Egypt USA and the smell of a cold starting diesel would be lingering in the air. That was the moment. Many years ago I can remember seeing the OBS trucks in high school and could remember thinking "One day I will get one of those".... That day is upon us. I recently made a trek halfway across the US to get this truck, as they are becoming more difficult to find as time goes on. I had some fairly specific requirements that I wanted met with the truck I was looking for: 1997, F-350, 7.3, auto, 4x4, Crew Cab, long bed, blue, red, or silver, grey or tan interior, and an unmolested powertrain. Without being over $12k or having been abusing by 20 different contracting companies and one spoiled teenager it seemed like I would never find one. Well I did, and I have her now. I use the truck as a daily driver as well as an auto hauler for my business. It is everything I wanted it to be. I also and not nieve in thinking that there wouldnt be SOME items that need to be addressed. I have used DB for just about everything that I needed and it seemed fitting to go ahead and join in with some of the discussion. I have a faily extensive background in motorsports, rusty mechanical and electrical skills, and fabrication. Hopefully I will be able to help some of you out as you have for me! Looking forward to getting into this!

-Side note, I tried to upload some photos and got no where.....maybe I dont know how to do it.....I'll keep a go at it. But for now, here is a link to a short clip I had on my facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v...14803624098388
