I'm new to Diesel Bombers as well as being new to owning a diesel truck, and diesel van. I recently purchased a 1993 F350 crew cab longbed from New Orleans and had it shipped to me here in Akron, Ohio. Upon reaching me I was overwhelmed with how clean and solid it was, I felt I was on my way! The engine turns over nicely but won't start, it is a 7.3 IDI with a Banks Sidewinder. The guy I got it from said the engine was knocking. I liked the truck so much that I located a '94 E350 box truck in PA for a really decent price and will pick it up next week to use the 7.3 IDI in it to get my truck running. I got the truck through EBay, my first such purchase of this magnitude. Well, now the guy won't send the title, nor will he answer any of my calls, and EBay says it has been over 60 days so their policy won't allow them to intercede! I am very dissappointed over this, but I only have $1800 invetsed in this beautiful truck; I figure I can buy a CC cab and use that VIN tag and keep rolling, it's not some high priced sports car or anything. Any advice or direction would be very much welcome and appreciated.

I was wondering if I did something wrong, having trouble navigating. Well first off, I found a cc cab about 150 miles from here that is totalled, guy ran into a pole and knocked the right side in 4 inches. He's selling me the truck minus the drivetrain and a few other parts for $350, including the title. It's a 97 while mine is a 93, but both are pretty much the same it looks like, except now I will have the powerstroke harness should I decide to put one of those in someday. Carpet, really 18 wheeler styled back bumper, electric windows and locks, plus harness. Not bad in my opinion. Made arrangements to drive down with a trailer and pick it up.
