Diesel Bombers - 6.5 wont crank after swap

so this may be a stupid question and sorry if it is but my problem is that the truck wont crank, simple enough, but the situation is that i bought this truck from a guy who had dropped a 454 into it and didnt do it right. it was originally a 6.5 truck so i found another 6.5 on craigslist and put it in (yes the new motor runs, i got to see and hear it before he took it out).

i used it with the wiring harness it came with and hooked it all up. im waiting on a pcm, an oil cooler, and the accelerator pedal (obviously the 454 didnt need the aps) so would the pedal or pcm keep it from cranking? because aside from those and the radiator, its pretty much put together. i got it to crank with a wire from the battery so is it more likely the ignition wire or the pcm?

im going to install the other stuff friday but i wanted to know if theres anything else i need to know in advance since im hoping to get it done this weekend. thanks guys
