With a 6.0 you have a multitude of possible issues, does the oil pressure gauge read any pressure while cranking?... If it does low pressure system should be working... Next is your high pressure oil system... 03 is a good year for 6.0... There are not a lot of things you can do without IDS (diag software). I would imagine that your problem is IPR (injection pressure regulator) or a high pressure oil leak, top of an injector blew off, high pressure oil pump
Rail/manifold leak, or a dead hpop (high pressure oil pump) ... I ride only cummins, but have a couple 6.0s and 7.3s... Without codes or the ability to watch commanded and actual pressures it tough..... If you have something with the ability to command IPR open and Some air you might have chance at back yard diag Easiest way to tell a true 03 is if the IPC is at right front of engine or underneath turbo (if you don't see a sensor at right front it is an early 6.0) |
